Centerpieces
On September 16th I put out the official word that I am no longer accepting bottle cap donations. But that does not mean I'm finished working with this material.

Crystal River Stone Carvings
Last summer I added an element to my stone carving process where I would create what I call stone "sketches." I would pick out small chunks of marble from the Crystal River and make little sculptures with them.

Colorado Cairns
I'm back from another wonderful trip to Marble, CO where I participated in the annual MARBLE/marble Sculpting Symposium. It was a very productive and joyful time for me as I was able to further my understanding of and relationship with the heart and soul that lies within the Yule marble.

Beyond Landscape
Please join me Thursday, June 28th for the opening reception of Beyond Landscape at the Marin Community Foundation in Novato. My sculpture, Palm, will be on display along with over 100 artworks by WEAD (Women Environmental Artists Directory) artists. The exhibition runs from June 15th to September 28th.

One More Year In Fort Bragg
Two of my stone sculptures, Sayulita and Spiral 2, have been selected to remain at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens for another year. If you've never been, why not plan a trip to Fort Bragg this summer? It's beautiful there.

Process and Progression Images
If you were unable to visit see my recent collaboration with Laura Sudweeks, Process and Progression, in San Francisco this past January here's what you missed.

Process and Progression
In collaboration with metal-casting artist Laura Sudweeks, I am pleased to present Process and Progression on display at Gallery del Grotto (located inside Sports Basement) in San Francisco from January 6 to January 31, 2012. This unique sculptural installation evolved out of a desire to explore the nature of sequential repetitive activities or behaviors that are a means to an end.

My Process
My art making often involves repetitive tasks. Repeating the same action over and over again, hundreds of times, is very calming. It soothes me. It gives me a place to go where I can be quiet, be still.

Falkirk Cultural Center
Phase One of my installation at the Falkirk Cultural Center in display from July to October in downtown San Rafael is complete. More to come.

Flowers for the Library
Floral Family is currently installed at the San Rafael Public Library and will be on display through the end of October.
