Spring is here! And bottle cap flowers are popping up all over. Add a vibrant splash of color and a unique shape to any room.

Bottle cap flowers are blooming at American Steel Studios in West Oakland.

Flower Spiral, originally created for Phish Festival 8 in Indio, CA in October 2009, is made almost entirely of recycled materials and found objects. This plant-like sculpture symbolizes growth and rebirth, giving a new purpose and life to what was previously discarded.

Formed from the ruins of rejection and abandonment, Lily is full of hope and represents the potential for renewal and rebirth.

Spinning Sun Flower is the latest in a series of flower sculptures made from recycled materials. The base is an old stool stand. Other materials include remnant steel, bottle caps and found metal objects.

I recently installed Torso in a private garden and it looks beautiful.
